Snowflake
Snowflake Western Region Oddball Baby Blanket started December 2013 |
The cast-on edge is taped down to get a good photo of the stitch pattern used in first section. I used the Box Stitch on my four-inch section and sent the blanket on to Sara in Nebraska.
Gladly, no actual snowflakes fell while this blanket was in my possession.
Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove these white ones....it shows the pattern so much clearer.
ReplyDeleteOoooo...that's really pretty, Nancy. Love it.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty and looks very delicate. Makes me think of a baptism blanket.
ReplyDeleteI love white blankets and afghans and I really love Snowflake. The stitches are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty and delicate looking blanket. I am always afraid to knit with white - it's like I will doom it to being dirty before I even finish it.
ReplyDeleteIn answer to your question - I like both circular and DPNs for knitting socks. I lean towards the circulars because it's more difficult to lose stitches!
this is so pretty. white can be such a gorgeous background for knit patterns.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a magical Christmas season and all the good things in 2014! :)
very pretty, these white ones will be beautiful when they are done:)
ReplyDeleteThis one is going to be a stunner.
ReplyDeleteI love how it's knitting up.
ReplyDeleteSo dainty and pretty!!
ReplyDeleteHahah that is kind of funny about the snowflakes. They are predicting rain and I want more snow!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Very beautiful! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Wishing you a Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI love it! It inspires me to dig out the "antique white" blanket that is almost finished. I need to motivate myself with a baby count-down chart... for the two on the board in the League, for the best friend due again this summer, and for Wondervet's twin GIRLS due in the spring too. Whew. (And I suspect local vet is pregnant as well, but it should be safer to ask/more obvious when Gg goes next month for her annual exam.)
