Back in Time - Visiting Santa
Evelyn, Marilyn, Brenda, Nancy Frankenmuth, MI June 1992 or 1993
I can't recall the exact year that my sisters, my niece and I travelled to Frankenmuth, MI, but I am almost certain it in was in the early 90s.

I've been to stores like that where it's Christmas all year round, though I can't say I've ever been to one that big.
ReplyDeleteThink I would like to visit there just for the German background:)
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to go to Bonners!
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a large reindeer! It's good to know he is being safe and crossing at the deer crossing.
Thanks for such an interesting post, and thanks for turning me on to Far Side of Fifty.
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute picture. I like the Deer Crossing sign.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! ! Now I have to look up the Australia Silent Night!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like such a fun place at Christmas! I miss Christmas in Bavaria, especially real, honest-to-goodness Lebkuchen.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness 27 acres would take all day! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was my mistake Nancy! you said Austria!
ReplyDeleteI remember visiting there on one of the many visits we made to the Upper Peninsula. I thought the whole town was Christmas oriented. I probably was there the same time frame as you, mid 80's.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the 80s hair!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I need to stop in the Christmas Shop at the beach next time, just to be inspired.
