Fruit Salad
Fruit Salad, a Western Region Oddball Baby Blanket, came to me from Bonnie in Ottawa, Canada. Bonnie began the blanket with a purple (grape) section.
I used the Checks and Ridges stitch and Simply Soft (Mango) for my section.
This blanket will be bright and cheerful as more fruit colors are added.

ReplyDeleteI am always fasinated with the names of these and how they compliment the piece.
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty so far! I get to add a section at some point, looking forward to it!

ReplyDeleteOhhh... see... living in UVa (orange and blue) land, I saw orange and blue and was guessing blueberries...
ReplyDeleteI like the stitch pattern and love the color. Simply Soft is one of my favorite yarns! I have a shawl made from it that I have been washing and wearing for almost five years and it still looks great.
