Biting the Bullet

binding Tavern Blues
June 2018
Tavern Blues simply would not be ignored: it taunted me every time I passed the crumpled mass on the sofa. On Saturday, I finally bit the bullet and began hand stitching the binding. I listened to High Profile (a Jesse Stone novel) by Robert B. Parker as the needle slowly inched its way around the quilt.

  6. Good for you to get it done. I’m not a great fan of hand stitching bindings. But I did it for the last antique top I quilted. It went surprisingly fast. Done is a great feeling! That quilt looks so good on that bed. Are you keeping?

  7. Wow, Nancy! That is fabulous. I don't mind hand-stitching bindings. It's one of the few quilting skills I am confident of.
