Can It Be?

According to the calendar, today is the day!

I saw a pair of robins yesterday . . . spring-like weather will hopefully be here soon.

  1. LOL

Yes - Spring comes in at 12:15 p.m. today here on the East Coast...and along with it Nor'Easter #4. Predictions now indicate we will receive 9-14". I will enjoy a day at home tomorrow!

  2. I laughed out loud. I saw a couple of robins here last week..but we are predicted to have a rain/snow mix all weekend. It’s taking it’s time arriving this year.
    Blessings,

  4. The reality of course is that spring doesn't usually arrive this early in this part of the country, but it does mean that it's getting closer. We got an inch of wet snow last night, and it's beginning to melt. I've seen a few robins this past couple of weeks, but have seen lots of chickadees, and one big male cardinal hanging around my bird feeders. Yesterday there was a Downy Woodpecker outside my office window for quite a while.

  7. It took me a minute!!! I have seen and heard some cheerful robins this week. Also some sandhill cranes are back. The juncos have not left the area, so we are not quite into warbler time

  8. It took me several minutes. We don't have robins near us. I think it is because construction is still fairly close. (Well and the snow keeps swinging by! Tomorrow appears to be a snow day.)

  9. I've given up all hope of having a decent snowfall, so now I'm impatient for some warm days.

  10. Yeah...........our robins are strutting around in the snow today. Mother Nature said, "ha, ha, ha ....have some snow!"

  11. Our robins are heading north, we had our first thunder/lightening storm and the March winds are still blowing so Spring is really here! Is your snow done or do you get some late Spring snowstorms, too, like the NE?
