Take & Replace Swap - Completed

contents of the Take & Replace Swap box
October 2015

Last week the Take & Replace Swap box found its way back to me, so the swap is officially completed.

The box travelled from coast to coast and a lot of places in between. It started in Wyoming went east to Illinois, then further east to New Jersey, sent back west to Wisconsin, on to South Dakota, back to Wyoming, headed south to Colorado, journeyed further west to California, and returned home to Wyoming. The swap covered seven states and a little over 5,000 miles less than a month.

Thanks to the following participants for keeping the box moving and for placing some great items inside the box.

Kathyb (Illinois)

Grace (New Jersey)

Judy (Wisconsin)

Sylvia – no blog (South Dakota)

Kay – no blog (Wyoming)

Paula (Colorado)

Ellen (California)

I hope everyone had a good time switching up their stash.

  7. Looks like you got some goodies. Talked to my friend Sylvia last night and she was telling me about the items she "swapped" with this box. A fun way to connect with other knitters and exchange some stash.

  9. Yes Nancy! It was super fun. I loved that "I got mail" feeling. I loved the surprise, what's inside feeling. It was nice to have it too shared with a bunch of other crafters and knitters. Thanks a bunch!!

  11. By the way, I used that green yarn for a baby blanket for my grand-daughter. It is really soft and washes up nice. It would work quite well for baby hats.
