  1. These ropes are beautiful. I was curious as to how they are made, so I searched out a video. I found the process fascinating. The man in the video was making a much smaller rope. This one must have taken more than one person to make, I think.

  2. What really caught my eye on this shrine is how smooth the roof is. I'm assuming it is slate, but wow . . . can you imagine placing it so perfectly?
