It is even more beautiful in the snow but the visitors have all disappeared. For some reason I never think of Japan having snow and am surprised to see it every time.
I am college-town-sick. (Can't be homesick when you still live in the same zip code where you were born.) But DC's tidal basin remains my spring utopia, especially when the cherry blossoms are in bloom.
