At Loose Ends

women's size 10
knit with 56 stitches on size 2 needles
I loved knitting this pair of socks from odds and ends - four different sock yarns. Each stripe is 10 rounds.

Photo shows one sock inside out and the tails that needed secured. While there were a lot of loose ends, I didn't mind because I like the socks.

  1. They sure don't look like they're made from odds n ends. Very pretty!

  3. I love the socks and I am amazed at your patience. I have always resisted knitting with odds and ends because of all the end weaving needed. Now I can see that it is worth the effort!

  6. You must have the most exciting socks in Wyoming! How do you weave in the ends I usually do that while I'm knitting. But I've never done striped socks by adding a new ball of yarn. I, too, love the color.
