Yuki's Travels

Yuki
counted cross-stitch ornament
by Dee K.
January 2014
I cleaned closets in November/December and discovered some perforated cross-stitch paper and a couple of kits that I would never use, but luckily, I knew someone who might put them to good use. I emailed Dee (Tangled Up in Sticks and String) and her response confirmed my thoughts: the package was sent.

Imagine my surprise when I received this cute card and ornament in the mail last week.

In addition to the stitching, Dee added dimension by using beads for Yuki's eyes, mouth, and carrot nose.

I love Yuki: he definitely brought happiness to my mailbox. Thanks, Dee!

  4. Yuk I is definitely a cutie. I've been making "Halloween" ornaments from perfect. Paper. Did Dee machine stitch the ribbon on the top? It looks like it on the picture.

I like the idea of cleaning out projects and sending some on to new homes. A win-win for everyone!

  7. What a sweet treat! I'm hoping we don't have to deal with snow tomorrow; Sissy and I need to make the 100 mile trek to Vision Vet for her (belated already) annual exam.
