Indian Summer, a Western Region Oddball Baby Blanket, is all garter stitch. I used Caron Simply Soft (Deep Sage) for my four-inch section.

  2. I love it! The themes are always fun too. But what do you call an early spring with a jolt of winter thrown in? I feel certain I've heard the last snow of the season - in spring - called something...

  4. You can definately see changes in tension on this all garter version. How do you counter act that? I love these colors. Another great blanket. g

  6. You picked a great color for your addition to the blanket! There are some unfortunate changes in gauge here, but that is to be expected with so many knitters involved.

Also, I really want to hear all about it if you decide to unravel the sweaters you mentioned in your comment. Just so long as the yarn you want to dye does not have any acrylic content you can do it! I challenge you, go to the store right after easter and buy egg dyes on sale, they are super easy and safe to use.

  8. Reminds me of autumn or a little boy's vest. Very cute.
