I added the final section to Nature, a Western Region Oddball baby blanket, using Caron Rhapsody (Charcoal) and the Purled Ladder stitch. The colors in this blanket should make it boy-friendly.

Since I was the sixth knitter and cast off, I will start another blanket for the group.

My friend Cheryl added the border over the weekend.

Nature is a cute blanket.

  1. Beautiful blanket! The border finishes it off nicely :)

  2. The border really is the key to uniting all the sections. Nice work!

  3. Lovely! I can assure you that the border on my own baby blanket saw the most... use? I loved to rub the shell stitch, and often add a shell stitch border to my own knitted blankets just because!

  4. Love it! I'm sure it will be much appreciated. The border does bring it all together.

  5. I think the blues make it all pop and work! Lovely
