Multiplication with a Bernina
My next project uses four-patches - lots and lots of four-patches!
I’m still trying to bring the scrap bins under control. I managed to use some larger scraps to make a couple of quilts, but now I’m focused on the smaller ones -- 2.5” squares.
I made piles of four-patch units and then sewed them into eight-patches, and finally sixteen-patch blocks. I think I have enough for two, possibly even three quilts. Stay tuned . . .
This is going to be a stunning quilt with all of the little pieces!!! Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing what you are doing with all those squares. I have a lot of 2.5" squares left over too - and really need to gather the red/white/blue ones all in one location so I can do something useful with them.
ReplyDeleteThose little squares go a long way.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an assembly line!
ReplyDeleteThat is going to be so pretty. All of those little squares! You are remarkably patient and I'm looking forward to seeing them.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
I look forward to seeing what you do! Every time I think I have the scrap piles under control... I make more scraps!
ReplyDeleteI have always enjoyed the humble four patch and nine patch blocks. Good luck with those scrap-piles. They can be a little unruly - at least at my house.
