Slogging Along

September 2022

The Redcliffe socks have been a slooow slog, but since I was able to turn the heel and knit the gusset yesterday, the end might be in sight.

Clearly, my desire to knit socks is waning, and once this pair is finished, I going to take a break and knit other items.

  2. They remind me of ragwool socks. They look like they'll be very warm and comfy.

  5. They sure do look warm and cozy. My sock knitting seems to be taking forever too! And...I packed sock yarn to knit Fletch a pair while on vacation...we shall see...LOL

  6. I've lost all my knitting mojo this week. It got warm again after a nice cold spell. That'll do it every time.

  7. What pretty fall colors. I say follow your heart when it comes to knitting. Set socks aside for awhile and knit what makes you happy.

  10. They look like they will be toasty warm. But I understand getting tired of a project or an activity. Enjoy whatever you come up with next.
