Star Gazer

Star Gazer
60 x 72 inches
Quilt of Valor #140
Star Gazer was made entirely from the fabric that was donated by Judy M. (Lynchburg, VA) in February.

Pattern: Stargazer - free pattern on Moda Bake Shop  (I adjusted the pattern to include only 12 blocks)

Judy, thank you for making this Quilt of Valor possible.

  2. Nice quilt. Thanks go to Judy M for making the fabric available to you. I was thinking of your this past week at my quilt show. One of the vendors had several really nice patterns for panels. I just "had" to buy 2. You've inspired me. (Although I don't recall that I have any panels sitting around in the stash. But I think I have a piece of big print fabric that might work. Time will tell.

  10. I do like the contrasting use of negative and positive space!
You did this fabric justice! Are they 12" blocks? I didn't know QOV took smaller quilts! I need to pay attention to their site again and contribute! (I just donated 20 quilts this size to my local hospital to distribute to the cancer center!)
