Last Fall, the front door of my home was replaced, but the days soon turned too cold to paint. Throughout the long Winter, I pondered what color to paint the door, and green kept nudging its way into my subconscious. The siding on my house is a pale yellow, and the area around the entry is brick. I needed a color that would complement both.
Does anyone remember the song, "Green Door" - it's a catchy tune and may stick with you all day if you click on the image below.
I remembered that sound the minute it started to play!!! 😂 I love your green door. My door is kind of a robins egg blue and I love it. I have a light colored brick house. Hugs,
Love the green! Love the wreath! I'm still laughing about the song. I had forgotten that song completely until it started playing. Thanks for brightening my day Nancy!!

That is a gorgeous shade of green! I did not click on the song link...I don't need an ear worm Monday morning - lol. Our front door is red.
ReplyDeleteWood and brown with glass inserts is my front door.
ReplyDeleteMy door is a dark green. We have brick and tan siding. I love my green door.
ReplyDeleteGreen is a very welcoming color. Our last house had a forest green front door and matching shutters against a butter yellow of the house.
ReplyDeleteOur front door of the apartment is black and it looks like someone had a hey-day with a BB gun. It's all pock marked.
The house we hope to get has a bright YELLOW door against the grey of the painted brick front.
Such a pretty color green. Our door is is white and the house is yellow and I think it looks like a happy house!

Betsy

ReplyDeleteOh and our door is brown with a bronze wreath. It's a big star with "God Bless Texas" written around it. I guess I'm finally a real Texan.
ReplyDeleteGreen but a different shade of green...forest green :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so pretty - just love your Spring wreath.
ReplyDeleteGreat front door color! Ours is wooden and fits the stucco house!
