Simply Stripes - Completed

Simply Stripes is off the needles. Specifics can be found on this earlier post.

I loved working on this baby blanket while sitting on the back deck surrounded by the sound of birds chirping in the trees.

What is your favorite location for summer knitting?

  1. It turned out great! When I knit in the summer it's usually indoors while watching a baseball game or movie.

  2. Oh my ---- on the sofa in the family room UNDER.THE.FAN!

In the fall and winter you'll find me out on the deck by the pool with my stitching, but not until it's less than 85 degrees. LOL

  3. I work on small things in the summertime because my meds make me sweat. My favorite place is the couch. My husband and I have specific places we sit. I'm on the left of the couch and he is on the right. lol

  5. Super blanket!! I love the colors. I like to knit on the patio with the mister going when the weather allows. (105 degrees does NOT allow). The rest of the time I am in my big, family room chair with either the TV going or music or an audiobook. Sometimes I knit while DH and I have long philosophical discussions about the best way to clean tile grout or what to do about the dying refrigerator. We accomplish a lot while I knit.

  8. Simple stitches with great colors make a stunning little blanket. Except it doesn't look so small to me in your lap. I don't knit in the summer much. Way too hot. I'm contemplating taking out one of my unfinished sweaters and work on it until I go crazy. Both are old and take attention. The oldest looks like the 80s when it was started. I may rip out off the bobbles and try to just so a smooth yoke. Later, no doubt because I hear a quilt calling me!
