This post brings to mind one of my favorite scriptures: Be still and know that I am God. ~ Psalm 46:10a
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post and photos. Sadly, I can listen to the rain running through the downspouts today, and the clouds don't seem to be moving! It does make for a restful day though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder! I do plan on working a little less today... the downside of working from your home is it is hard to take a day off. One to be quilted, one to sew on the binding, and then knitting and bowling tonight. I got my yarn in on Saturday afternoon and already have about 17" of the reader's wrap done... I am LOVING this! Working with larger needles really took some getting used to.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Labor Day holiday, Nancy. And thanks for the water pics... makes me want to get back to some mountains SOON!
Living in the moment is one of the hardest things to do, but it is so rewarding. Great memories later, and less worries.
ReplyDeleteLove your cloud shots, and thank you for the support, I really needed to hear some kind words.

Thank you so much for the reminder, you are so right. Love life, even when there is too much of it sometimes! Take care and enjoy the lazy holiday!
ReplyDeleteAhhh so right you are! Nancy I am home on my porch, enjoying the blue skies that followed us from California. Not a cloud in site. The birds are at our feeder, the weather is hot but not uncomfortable. I am home. Life is good
ReplyDeleteWhat refreshing photos! Happy Labor Day, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteGreat reminder Nancy..I had a nap today..:)
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of the Popo Agie River in the Sinks, as well as the puffs of clouds floating in the sky! Such a nice reminder, too, to enjoy each moment--to enjoy the now. It seemed to ring true for all your readers.
