Sharing Some Favorites

Personally, I like blog posts with photographs, and the following blogs are three of my favorites.

Forgotten Old Photographs features old photographs that FarSide of Fifty purchases at local antique stores. Since being posted, many of the photos have been returned to family members: note the Full Circle list in the left column.

One Snap Photo Journal highlights quality photos taken by WoolWinder. On Sundays, the photo is accompanied by Scripture.

Five Starr's Farm also includes high-quality photographs.

  1. Thanks for sharing those! I love that a lot of the old photos have been returned to family members. We're planning something similar for the League's 80th anniversary next year... Our historian last year found THOUSANDS of old photos. We're scanning and have already returned a few to the obvious people, but we're going to do a silly fundraiser with the others, and people can bid on them...

  2. Nancy -- thanks so much for these sites. I know about Pixels of Ink and have it delivered to my inbox everyday. Needless to say I have been picking and choosing from it. Now I'll check out the others. I have the original Kindle so I can't play games on it. boo hoo but thank goodness since I would NEVER get anything else done!

  3. Thanks Nancy! You always give us great links. I followed the link and read about Stephanie Decker who gave her life for her children during a tornado. That has certainly put my day in the proper perspective!! What could possibly be wrong in a world with such love in it?
