No Joke

It appears that Mother Nature has a sense of humor, but I am not amused!

Taken at 8 AM on April 1st. Two inches on the ground and a light, steady snow still falling. Predicted accumulation today 2 - 4 inches with snows continuing tomorrow.

Oh yeah, Mother Nature is a real jokester!

  1. SHEESH!! I understand your feelings, but it does happen. I can remember about 30 years ago (yeah, that was a long time ago!) that we had 2" of snow on April 1 in LOUISIANA!! Hunker down, knit something pretty, and hopefully it will be gone soon.

  3. Ah, more snow... just what we want > wrong. We had snow Tuesday and all the weather forecasters were red in the face. One even started his bit with a paper bag over his head. Nothing accumulated here but some did in other areas nearby.

I'm finishing knitting projects. Got a little neck warmer done. And, very close to getting a scarf done. Was to be for a Christmas present. Now I am 9 months early for it! Yea.

I wasn't doing a good job of keeping up with posts or I would have volunteered to quilt your Side Tracked quilt... maybe some other time. B.

  7. Wow, Mother Nature just wasn't nice to you!! That's usually the kind of joke she'd play on us around here. Except it was in the mid-70s. Hope that snow goes away soon!!

  8. We had 5 snows in Texas this winter, sort of a record for this area. One was a real record setter - over 12 inches, and we had a Christmas Eve snow, the 1st for me! Since I didn't have to get out in it, I enjoyed them.Glad to hear you are better.
