Time to Decrease
Scrappy Silver Lining Hat March 2023 |
According to my last measurement, it is time to start the decreases for the crown of this reversible hat. This is the fifth hat I've knit using the Silver Lining Hat pattern with scrap sock yarn. Each hat is unique and fun, and I love the one I kept for myself.
You always choose such pretty yarn colors.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! It's going to knit up fast now that you are starting the decreases!
ReplyDeleteThis one is looking great - love the colours!
ReplyDeleteLooks very pretty! Way to go using up scraps of yarn!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! You are really knocking them out. My poor hat is stuck in nowhere land. I swear I knit on it every night and it never seems to get any longer.
ReplyDeleteThats an ideal way to be using up scrap sock yarn.
ReplyDeleteThose colors are so great for your newest hat. I going to have to try that pattern soon.

I have so much scrap sock yarn and I don't seem to be making the Granny Squares...I'm thinking this might be an ideal project to take on vacation...easy to knit and fun to use up some scraps! Yours is so pretty Nancy - nice job!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to make one of these double hats but I should. Yours is beautiful and honestly I'd never know you used scraps.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link to the directions. Someday I might even try this hat. It really is interesting.... and it would be really warm.
