Cinco de Mayo
Cinco de Mayo was one of three blankets that arrived while I was gone. These blankets circulate in spurts: I hadn't knit on one for months, and then suddenly I am inundated with them.
Blanket is being knit on size 8 needles. I used the Checks and Ridges stitch for my section.

Cinco de Mayo is on the left; Mardi Gras, on the right.

Funny that they come in spurts...good thing your only obligation is one strip:)
ReplyDeleteWhen it rains, it pours. You're getting them knit in a timely manner, however. Nice work.
ReplyDeleteI just love the last two blankets you've posted pictures of! They are both so bright and festive!
ReplyDeleteCheck and Ridges is such a good stitch, works with so many different projects well, and is reversible which I like, so many knit stitches are truly one sided. Liking the colors, most importantly...where you drinking a margarita while stitching...I'll get my glass and some chips and salsa.
ReplyDeleteSeems like everything does come in bunches ;) This blanket is a very happy and cheerful blanket!
