Little Frog Prince

Little Frog Prince
Western Region Oddball Baby Blanket
started October 2012
My section on this Oddball blanket was knit in Double Moss/Box Stitch, using Caron Simply Soft (pistachio).

Pet Snuggle
Fremont Country Fiber Guild Project
started October 2012
Several asked questions about the Pet Snuggles that were mentioned in an earlier post. I started one (72 stitches) on size 10.5 needles and two strands of worsted weight yarns. It makes a nice heavy blanket for a pet that needs some comfort. The snuggle will be completed with five  sections (five inches each).

  3. Cute name and so fitting ...Little Frog Prince... That Snuggles project is interested. My niece just adopted a dog from the US...amazing...a dog coming thousands of miles to Canada...I guess they found the right one...and it worked out less money than buying one here...and the one in the US needed a home:)..

  4. Love the Frog Prince!

I haven't done a doggy snuggle since the fur-girls loved the crocheted one I made them to pieces in no time. Read: they're scratchers. They claw and paw and dig and "nest", and they destroyed it in probably less time than it took me to make it, and I crochet pretty quickly!

  10. I love this concept of knitting. Its a good way to learn new stitches I would think too! I want to start making Snuggle Blankets for our local Animal Shelters so I may use this technique.

    Great Work
