Pink and Scrappy

Julie, a knitting friend, gave me several small balls of pink, baby (fingering) yarn a couple of months ago. The pinks are a shade different and are not as obvious as this photo shows.

I estimate the jacket, knit on size 6 needles, will fit a 3 - 6 month old. This pink and scrappy Baby Surprise Jacket will be donated to a local pregnancy center.

  2. So sweet!! Someone else was telling me to try making a BSJ... Soon. The only EZ pattern book I have doesn't seem to have it in it!

  4. Very cute! My Mom donates quilts to Catholic Charities and they put them in baskets for the new mothers with other items. I think it's so special for a baby to have something handmade with love.

  5. All these BSJs are so adorable, I finally broke down and bought the pattern! Hopefully I'll knit faster than the grandkids grow.

  6. So pretty and sweet! I really must make one. I did download the pattern because it would be a great Christmas gift for a friend with a new baby!
