These stores were very dark inside and crammed with everything imaginable. It was fun to roam through them to find unique food items.
Notice the vending machines to the far right. Vending machines were very common throughout Japan. Specific machines sold beer, nectars, magazines, cigarettes, and soda.
It looks a lot like the little shops in Europe. They also had everything under the sun crammed in a little shop :)
